I use an Olds cornet, and also occasionally use a trumpet or flugelhorn.

I'm often to be found playing swing jazz with Virus at Grumpy's Green in Fitzroy on Saturday arvos, 4.30-7pm, but usually only when Eamon McNelis is on the road.

My quintet plays at Uptown Jazz Cafe in Brunswick St. Fitzroy approximately second Friday of the month. This band plays my own original compositions, many of which were written during my travels in recent years.

From time to time I use the cornet to tour with C W Stoneking. We have played

a lot around Australia and Europe in the last few years but are currently taking

a break until the next record gets released.

Cornet, or trumpet, tends to be the instrument i use when doing extended

contracts or full time work etc. I've used it for touring the venues around the country,

for cruise ship contracts, circus and theatre.
