Steve Grant is based in Melbourne, Australia. He joined his local brass band  as a youngster. As a teenager he began performing semi-professionally and learnt trumpet from Reg Walsh.

 

After completing his High School Certificate, Steve became a full-time musician and has been in demand as an eclectic musician. He plays a variety of different instruments and musical styles. He has spent many years touring and is also sought after as a recording musician.

 

Steve has recorded with Mia Dyson, the Avalanches, Robyn Archer and has performed with Black Arm Band, Julien Wilson Trio, Moscow Circus, C W Stoneking and JUTE Theatre Company (Cairns).
